I hesitate to say he’s a liar since I actually believe he believes what he’s saying. However, take a look at this:

Oregon’s state budget when from $48.4 Billion in 2007-09 to $55.9 Billion in 2009-11. How can you claim “services” were cut when total spending went up $7.5 Billion!!

To guys like Hunt a decrease in the projected increase is a cut. It’s simply not. Spending went up. You want me to vote for a tax increase? Sure I’ll vote yes the next time you actually reduce spending Mr. Hunt. Oh wait? If we actually reduced overall spending we would NOT NEED a TAX INCREASE!!

Democrats are a joke. How about we fund (and in this order) Education K-12 (like Washington does), Transportation, Public Safety (police, fire, etc)? And then when we have money left over pick the next most important “service” and fund that until we run out of funds with a budget the same as 2007-09? Is that too much to ask? I guess it probably is…
