Please explain. How many claims have been processed by DLCD?. At the present rate will DLCD finish by June 30 2010?

” . . .approximately 90 percent of the claims processed (3,217) resulted in the issuance of some form of a waiver.”

“The DLCD has processed about half of the elections it received, issuing 2,138 final orders.”

DLCD has a deadline of Jun 30, 2010 to finish all of the claims. What happens if they do not finish on time? It is very questionable if DLCD will finish on time considering it is doing the easy ones first and the Conditional Claims, the hard ones, have not been started. Are all the remainders automatically “approved”?
