A question not answered in the article is in what way are the Osprey and their young being protected during the construction and building on “their” land? From other experiences building beside a commonly used wildlife site can cause the wildlife to leave.

It would be really too bad – no criminal – if the build at Osprey Point resulted in no Osprey living there. It would be one more example of many where profit trumped responsibility. Once gone there is a high probability of no return by the birds.
