Just because this reporter left out some of the required permits doesn’t mean anyone is ignoring them, if that is what you’re implying.

Also, the LUBA 2nd Appeal was denied the last week in December and that case is now closed.

Some of you and your little band of opponents try, at every turn, to make it look like the industry is sneaking around and doing closed-door deals. You will say and do anything to discredit the industry – look around Franz, LNG import and/or export is a WORLDWIDE industry, with entire countries converting to natural gas because it can be imported at a reasonable cost.

Yes, it would be nice if we, here in the NW, could take advantage of the trillions of tons of natural gas under Pennsylvania and New York, but that would involved even MORE infrastructure as what is being proposed for the LNG terminals. I’d rather import it than tear up even more land.

Additions to the Status of the projects is as follows;
Bradwood/ NorthernStar LNG
1. In addition to the State of Oregon, the State of Washington, Columbia Riverkeeper, the NEZ PERCE and the Department of Commerce (NMFS) has appealed the FERC decision to the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
2. The land-use approval by Clatsop County is currently appealed for the second time to the Land Use Board of Appeal (LUBA).
3. All of the Oregon and Washington state permits e.g. CMZA, CWA, SEPA etc. etc. have to be obtained.

In addition to the State of Oregon, the following have requested the FERC to reconsider its decision., the citizen’s group Citizens Against LNG, Pacific Connector and The Department of Commerce (NMFS)

Could it be wishfull thinking of LNG supporters or just ignore the important issues.
