Comments on: JumpTown’s not-so-green reality /news/2010/02/11/47092/ Building and Construction News in Portland, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest Fri, 24 Jun 2011 23:23:51 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.6.6 By: Scott /news/2010/02/11/47092/#comment-11852 Tue, 16 Feb 2010 19:03:54 +0000 /?p=47092#comment-11852 It seems a bit narrow/unfortunate that you let one comment regarding news coverage helicopters covering an event at the Rose Garden skew your story so negatively. His intent was clearly to illustrate how the new arena would represent some sort of a recognizably sustainable element. Whether it be LEED or their operations maintenance changes at the rose garden.

If your point was to recognize that efforts to green an assembly building are difficult to recognize given that they are working within the reality of a public facility that draws attention and people from all over the NW then that seems fair. But given your statement about the hummer it looks like you just took this one comment as a chance to take a shot at the cars the players may drive vs actually making an informed comment about the proposal itself.
