Please, all you folks out there in the construction business. Quit begging for work, and asking others to buy you a ticket and give you connections. If you truely want to work, do as I am going to due on March 3rd. I am flying down to Haiti, and from there I will find my way. If you truely know the construction business, why would you worry about work. The entire island is devastated, they need experienced contruction workers, heavy equipment operators. What part of over a million people being displaced, do you not understand. If you have no compassion for the people and are only going for work, I guarantee you that attitude will change once you see children and women in the streets trying to feed and house themselves. So man up, if you are going to go, then go. How could you not find work there?!
I have over forty years of all phases of construction and handeling of heavy equipment, am paying for my own flight, and the rest is by the seat of my pants. American Men use to relish an adventure like this…To rebuild an entire Nation..Those of you who want everything handed to you, you are an embarrasment to the rest of us.
