I am on the third floor of an old lot right between the Burnside Couch Couplet Project construction, but it was too late for it to have been the construction. In addition, it was pouring, and I thought for sure that it was a thunder crack, but no lightening accompanied it. It was much louder and more powerful than most vibrations I feel along Burnside. Very interesting.
When I was young on the east coast we lived about 20 miles from a military base and would sometimes feel/hear sonic booms from their testing. However, I fail to know about any military bases nearby, so I am skeptical about that possibility.
Someone has to know what this is and isn’t talking. LOL it was just too loud and spread too widely.

We searched the house first because it sounded like it came from the basement. There was another softer boom just a couple of minutes after the first one.

I heard it, and I live at or around Fremont and MLK. It sounded like a sonic-boom. The sound seemed to radiate from the West, Southwest, as best as I could tell.
