as everyone else in Clackamas county. In publishing a brochure
on the cities plans for the county property (Kellogg Plant) they have
admitted the plant has reached the end of it’s life and thus agrees
with the county that the original rate has reached it’s end of life.
We live in the USA and we pay one federal tax; we live in Clackamas
county and should pay one county sewage fee. Yes for now we
will be paying to build tri-cities but next year those residents will be
paying to rebuild the Kellogg creek plant. In the meantime, without our
cooperation, our money is just paying lawyers, postponing the acceptance
of our responsibility – to pay county rates for sewage treatment by a county provider.
