The ‘animal health’ Stephanie refers to is the health of other animals in the area. They want to make sure that the biodigestion process wouldn’t spread diseases like Mad Cow etc. I see your point though. I probably could have chosen a less confusing quote! Thanks for reading.

Which article was this quote intended for? I doubt it was meant to be used here, as animal health is probably the last thing that a cattle carcass fed bio-digesting unit is worried about!
