Cutting back doesn’t necessarily equate to elimination of the cuts. Thus, the cuts are only relative to the present budget fiscal year.

Too bad that he hasn’t found himself in the role of the taxpayer who are forced to pay for these questionable projects – especially questionable in these economic times. The blinders are on – forward ho!

Even when it is not a TriMet project, e.g., Lake Oswego streetcar extension, TriMet wants a piece of the action.

Isn’t there some obligation as a public agency to represent the interests of the taxpayers? Is it always plan and bill the taxpayers?
