I would like to add the term INVESTMENT.

Too many organizations have slashed the professional development budget and have stopped making an investment in their number one operating cost – their people/talent. Training and Development can be as inexpensive or expensive as the company decides, but it needs to be included in the operating plan. Whether internal resources are used or outside contractors a training commitment to keep people engaged should be on the minds of every executive, business owner or manager.

Our work places need a time out; to learn, grow, play and celebrate; or as I call it a RECESSitation.
