Or even a minor league team.
The hawks can either move to Beaverton or stay in the coliseum while the new team splits time in the Rose Garden with the Trail Blazers (as the hawks do now). Then, once everyone realizes that talk of redeveloping the coliseum will go nowhere, we can thank that building for its wonderful years of service and then tear it down to build a professional rink.
I can’t be the only one who thinks that Vancouver, B.C., to San Jose is an absurdly long distance to have no professional hockey.
