Do a little research on how our “great” public transporation is being gutted. We have built street cars that creep through downtown slower than I can walk, Light Rail to nowhere, WES that is an epic failure by all measures, and what have we got in return? The backbone of Tri-Met, the bus system, has had service slashed over and over again, while Tri-Met asks for more money from the public. No longer great, or solid. Sorry.
