However, not every roof has the structural strength to hold the plants and people too. Many of these roofs with plants do not allow guests to walk on the roof. The roof is covered in plants and only the maintenance crew can go up there. Also you must stay on the pathways which are small.

Eco Roofs boost the idea of a better climate. However the scientific information states that the more plants there are the more rain comes pouring down.

A 5,000 square foot roof covered in plants has been estimated between $26,000 to $50,000 for the containers, and plants.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the ticket price on these projects escalated based on the roof trusses weight allowances and the cost the transition to the rubber roof.
