There is now a link to the GHG report at the top of the article if you would like to check it out. The report was vetted by many outside sources, including Climate Solutions, the Energy Trust of Oregon and the Oregon Environmental Council, among others.

A very important element is missing from this otherwise excellent article – the intricacies of measurement. Just how did they determine the emissions? Aren’t they merely estimates? Can these “emissions” results be validated?

Every year 0ver 4000 lbs of R11 & R12 is pumped back into older, leaking chillers in commercial buildings in Oregon resulting in millions of pounds of CO2 being released into the atmosphere.

Why does every major environmental agency ignore this?
