I took magnificent notes only to skimp at the final exam. Devastated Prof. Neil entertained my entreaty for another go. So important in life. Another go. Good fortune smiled on me in the 1980’s landing a job with The Atlantic Insurance Company which insured the Titanic. My admiralty course put me in good stead at this maritime insurance company where I managed subsequent admiralty claims around the globe.
