It sounds like Wilsonville wants to make sure only families live there and not any income producing business. Maybe a warehouse district, they are pretty low on the pollution and contaminants.

great, so one one side we have treehuggers who oppose anyform of development that might threaten the lowliest snail unless it involves building multi-million dollar LEED certified building for the homeless…and on the other hand we have wacko right wingers who oppose all attempts at government intervention because they actually believe we live in a free market economy instead of accepting the reality that the global economy is merchantilist and that government tax-breaks are necessary to compete with government backed, Asian competition. Amazing, that lately, the lefties have shown themselves to be more practical than the right on the local and national level — when did this shift occur?

Most cities in the US would love the “threat” of landing 500 jobs @ $51,000 average salary. What is John Ludlow’s beef with job creation? He obviously did not run on a platform of economic development. Quality of life begins with a job!
