This picture caption isn’t accurate, but the story behind it is pretty cool.

It was (way back in the day” a giant Payless. I remember going in there because they had a pet store and a Radio Shack inside. When I was in middle school, it started getting creepy and desolate. I guess it was around this time, 15 or so years ago, when all Payless stores became Rite Aids. Anyway, the developers then took the Rite Aid building, saved some of the beams and some of the structure of the old building, and turned it into Market of Choice, a hair salon, a frozen yogurt place, a phone retailer, a Hallmark store, and something else I think. It’s a great store, and the way they built it to let natural light come in from the south during the winter months is really smart.
