Really? Could there possibly be a LESS creative proposal for that site in the Pearl? And the design looks incredibly awful. It’s 2011, and we’re still even proposing designs like that? Granted, it’s a Residence Inn, so we can’t expect any architectural greatness.

Is there any vibrancy at the street level? The picture shows lots of people walking by (the only indication of vibrancy in any project), but what would draw pedestrians to that large site, other than the occasional hotel guest?

I was hoping for something 100 times better at this key location…
