Not such a progressive shock to the system, as Sellwood has already changed so drastically from the self sufficient little town it was when I was growing up. I’m not saying the new bridge shouldn’t be (safety being the most important). Just be aesthetically retro.

I’m certainly not saying that should have happened, but it is interesting to think about “what if”?
