I believe that sustainable construction will continue far and wide into the future. The only downside is the current high rents imposed, but it’s likely that prices will fall to more reasonable numbers as more and more of these structures are built. This has been the trend for building development since the beginning and estate agents or direct renters won’t really have to put in any extra effort to get these places occupied. The eco-factor will speak for itself and there will be one less utility bill to worry about.

I doubt it’s only for 2012, I think sustainable development will be a theme that will carry on for years to come. Perhaps the term sustainable development will lose its meaning, because every building built would have to conform to a certain standard of energy efficiency. Good news for environmentalists?

Well, from a construction point of view, that is really quite a feat of design and construction. Though it is still a concept, I can see it coming true and being developed if they find enough tenants who are willing to pay the high rent. This could possible be the mould that other buildings in the area might try to emulate.
