Bierma, to get that really good evidence of the rampant crime on light rail, sence statistics and news coverage doesn’t do it for you, I suggest you move to Rockwood and use the platform there daily. It won’t take long to get your evidence from there. And by the way I understand that one of the reasons the trolly tracks were torn up years ago was because of the blight that developed around the old trolly stations back then, so it’s nothing new.

E. Nazario, time does not change a “No” vote to a “Yes” vote. Only a new election can do that, so anyone who beleives that the Milwaukie Light rail should be built without a new election to overturn the results of the last two is as un-american as you can possibly be.
It matters not that you think early 1900’s technology represents progress.

Did you folks know that we are broke? Let me put it this way. After we pay back over 15 trillion dollars we will then have NO MONEY! Federal money is not manna from heaven. We have to barrow and pay back this 1.5 billion dollars with interest and state and local governments are broke as well. We simply can not keep spending money on wasteful things like this. Particularly when they will be forever finacialy unsustainable forever.

There are more than enough ignorant uninformed people in Clackamas County willing to sign his petition and probably enough to get it passed. When this finally happens the SE metro area will have truly earned its reputation as the most backwards part of the entire state.
