The university’s Sustainable Cities Initiative seems to be a great program that helps students apply their classroom knowledge to not only help the environment but the community as a whole as well. As a company that specializes in helping institutions reuse and refurbish existing furniture assets to save money and the environment, we are sure of the benefits that all parties are reaping from this program. We hope to see more colleges and universities start to implement programs that combine learning and community involvement at the same time—it’s nothing but a win-win situation.
