Interesting, I have an old barn I am debating either to fix—which will take a LOT OF MONEY or demolish–using a company to reclaim everything. This comes down to private property rights. What YOU call historic can be an owner’s nightmare….pests, dry rot, wet rot, you name it. If YOU like the barn so much you are willing to tell someone else what to do with their property, then YOU should open your friggin’ wallet and help pay to repair it. Put up or shut up. Very simple.
