It’s interesting to know that the flammability of hand sanitizer can come up a bit when renting a plastic portable toilet. A friend of mine is thinking about renting two or more units for an outdoor birthday celebration soon. I think hand sanitizers being flammable would not be an issue there.

I found it very interesting when you mentioned that porta-potties are required on every construction job site. My husband just got a job on a construction site and I’ve been wondering how he’ll take care of himself out in the middle of nowhere all day. I had no idea this was how they handled it. Thank you for the information on how sanitation companies that provide these portable toilets are getting more business lately due to the pickup in the construction industry. That was a fascinating thought!

It’s interesting that portable toilet business will often increase as construction does. It makes sense that those who are building things need places to go to the restroom and a portable toilet would be a good option for it. I think it’s good to know that there are businesses that can help each other grow.

Researching the Port-John industry, it’s important there’s a place to ‘go’ with ease- especially females. However, most people ( homeless, walkers/ joggers, folks driving when nature calls,who spot a ‘throne’)are looking for a convenient place to ‘go’. If it’s locked, people feel insulted, being denied personal need ‘rights’ . The inconvenience of port-John removal after business hours, may be well worth saving structure.

Is their a law about the porta potties being locked up after business hours of construction sites games and other functions to protect the public a unlocked porta potties and if their is not a policy why not

Hmmm...interesting story. I think, one of the downside for portable toilets is that other people do crazy things when it comes to "public use" stuffs coz maybe they thought that the government owns it. So, I believe, Tom Richmond just did a right thing not to include hand sanitizer on those locations.
