Even though the market demands smaller one-bedroom apartments, we should still be investing in those amenities, that will attract more family group visitors, irregardless (such as parks, play structures, outdoor seating, etc). Another amenity that is important, is having access to timely & affordable meeting spaces. There are many community events in our neighborhood, and it is a challenge to find spaces, that are adequate to the need. I love living in this part of the city, but like any other neighborhood, we in the Pearl, are experiencing growing pains, and appreciate it whenever our leaders & developers continue to seek out our constructive feedback, in order to make our community truly shine.
