Reminds me of this time my friend thought he could get a screen door on in 10 minutes because he ‘knows how it works’. Took him two hours. Reason? He knew how it worked in theory but he’d never actually tried putting one up himself! Always good to get your hands dirty because you learn the most.

I think every student needs to have a stand out work that able to impress a lot of people to consider that person a proper designer. Giving them a client before they graduate will put them through similar experiences when they step out into the working world.
