Granted they can be constructed in such a way that offers both parties the same kind of privacy as any other property with neighbors, the idea that you are just that much closer to your (possibly nosy and impossible-to-deal-with-on-a-daily-basis) land owner can really make the job of estate agents difficult. This is probably why lenders are so adamant about offering financing for such projects. Hopefully they’ll get over it and start a new trend; one that will continue to grow and prosper as it benefits the entire community.
