Whether or not Scientology “works” for everyone or not, the written policies — scriptures — of harassment and abuse of people and the law are not conducive to a sustainable belief system in a democratic republic. It’s not just that checks and balances in the organization’s administration no longer exist. Failure was built in from the start.

I too wonder how Miscavige managed to dethrone Loyal officers Annie and Pat, but then again it again it probably doesn’t much matter as they both seem to have practiced LRH’s intent to break the law and inure trusted funds for their and LRH’s benefit. I do agree that Scientology works. It keeps the Clears and OT’s fighting amongst themselves and less criminals on the street. A world without war, insanity….et al., perfectly demonstrated by by scientologist trained and counselled. To what end? Certainly not a peaceful, free climate. The irony is so LRH.
