This superblock is an attractive parcel because of its size – it creates opportunities for large scale (high-rise) development we don’t often see in Portland. Proximity to downtown, Lloyd center and the close-in eastside are excellent. This should do well. As for your opinion about the Lloyd district…that’s over the top.

Nobody. Look no further than the lackluster performance of the Merrick and the no-go Milano, You can’t give apartments away in the Lloyd district, but Warren says Lloyd workers are “eagerly waiting”? Wow. American Assets Trust needs to move on from this drive-by-shooting district.

The only way 637 units will absorb in the Lloyd District is if they become government-style subsidized housing Cabrini-Green style. Those San Diego investors better do their homework!!!!
