The old metal decking was fine. I calculate that there is only about 5000 sf of decking so that’s over $500 a sq ft for the replacement deck. You can build a two story building for that kind of money! How do they waste so much $ on a half ass job.

What a complete and total waste of money considering the other bridges that still have metal decking with out problems. OUCH!
