From an early age, has been interested in building things with his hands. He spent summer breaks during high school working and learning the trades. After graduating, he began working in construction full-time.

Over the years, he gained experience as a tradesman, carpenter foreman, superintendent and project manager, all of which gave him knowledge and perspective about how to build a company from the ground up.

Christophersen founded in 2022. Its portfolio includes new construction and renovations, multifamily and residential units, , and commercial, civil and .

Standard also specializes in all aspects of concrete, rough and installation services for doors and hardware, bath and fire accessories and more.

“I like the opportunity to assemble a team of individuals, with guidance and mentorship, whom collaborate as one allows SCC to provide top-tier industry service,” Christophersen said.
