The Haven Apartments at Orenco Station consists of eight buildings of one-, two- and three-bedroom units built on a former nursery property around the 111-year-old McGill-Pitman House. The project included relocation of a garage to be closer to the still-occupied farmhouse. A towering old oak tree was kept in place as part of a condition of development of the property. The units began leasing in February, and a grand opening celebration was held last week to mark the recent completion of the final building in the complex. The project was designed by Seattle-based , and features amenities including a swimming pool, a hot tub, a billiards room, a fitness area, conference space, and outdoor fire pits and grilling stations.
