Work on the 2,000-square-foot space includes updated exteriors, a stormwater retention system and new asphalt parking lot, and the installation of four vehicle lifts. The Walla Walla School of Nursing at the Adventist Medical Center in Southeast Portland now has a lecture hall, an attached lobby and a patio. The school at 10345 S.E. Market St. also has a renovated kitchen and additional storage space. Brockamp & Jaeger Inc. is the general contractor for the project designed by Petersen Kolberg & Associates.

The 6,000-square-foot Troutdale library is now open in the Cherry Park Market Center. The new storefront branch of the Multnomah County Library at 2451 S.W. Cherry Park Road will house 20,000 books, audio-visual materials, periodicals and computers. There is also a community room, which the public can use to host meetings of up to 32 people for free. Green building features include certified fir ceilings and wall panels and eco-friendly carpet, paint and furniture. The grand opening will be July 24. General contractor Brockamp & Jaeger Inc. performed the remodel designed by Hennebery Eddy Architects.
