Permits issued

• Portland Public Schools was issued a $3.2 million permit for abatement and selective demolition, new second floor framing, masonry and facade restoration at Grant High School at 2245 N.E. 36th Ave. in the Grant Park area. The applicant is Mahlum Architects, and the contractor is Andersen Construction-Colas Construction joint venture.

• 6600 NE Sandy Boulevard LLC was issued a $700,000 permit to add to an existing single-story dental building at 6600 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in the Roseway neighborhood. The applicant is Iselin Architects, and the contractor is BNK Construction.

• Vista St. Clair Apartments LLC was issued a $2.5 million permit to remove and replace windows at the Vista St. Clair Apartments at 1000 S.W. Vista Ave. in the Goose Hollow neighborhood.

• Playhouse On Prescott LLC was issued a $482,147 permit for a renovation of the first floor of the Portland Playhouse at 602 N.E. Prescott St. in the King neighborhood, to change it from office to a lobby. The applicant is SERA Design and Architecture, and the contractor is Colas Construction.

• Hawthorne LLC was issued an $800,000 permit to build a four-story, mixed-use building with 46 units at 1478 S.E. 49th Ave. in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. The applicant is UDG 49th & Hawthorne LLC, and the contractor is SK Hoff Construction.

• Southwest Water Apartments received a $6.8 million permit to build a five-story, 100-unit apartment building at 2615 S.W. Water Ave. in South Portland. The contractor is Seabold Construction Co. Inc.

• Fairfield Development of San Diego was issued a $22 million permit to build a six-story, 206-unit apartment building with underground parking at 2865 N.E. Sandy Blvd. in the Kerns neighborhood. The applicant is Ankrom Moisan Architects.

• Prosper Portland was issued a $500,000 permit to build a two-story, three unit apartment building at 9320 S.E. Woodstock Blvd. in the Lents neighborhood. Lisac Brothers Construction is the applicant and contractor.

• HPG 1331 NW 17th LLC was issued a $7 million permit to build a concrete structure at 1331 N.W. 17th Ave. in Northwest Portland. The applicant is GBD Architects, and the contractor is Holland Construction.

• Central City Concern was issued an $11.7 million permit to build a 115-unit, four-story affordable housing project at 12621 S.E. Stark St. in the Hazelwood area. The applicant is Ankrom Moisan Architects, and the contractor is Mackenzie Thames Team Construction.

• Central City Concern was issued a $3.9 million permit to build a four-story, 38-unit affordable housing project at 333 S.E. 127 Ave. in the Hazelwood area. The applicant is Ankrom Moisan Architects, and the contractor is Mackenzie Thames Team Construction.

• Bruneau Investments was issued a $600,000 permit to build a pre-engineered metal building for assembly of heavy earth-moving equipment vehicles at 6556 N.E. 42nd Ave. in the Cully neighborhood. The applicant is Dimoff Designs, and the contractor is Silco Commercial Construction.

• A permit was issued for a 51-unit apartment building at 6905 N. Interstate Ave. in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood. The applicant is Doug Circosta Architect, and the contractor is Silco Commercial Construction.

• Portland & York LLC of Salt Lake City was issued a $500,000 permit on a deferred submittal for slab post-tensioning tendons at 2211 N.W. York St. in the Northwest area. Perlo Construction is the applicant and contractor.

• NWB/CSPP-McLoughlin LLC was issued a $7.7 million permit for a four-level self-storage facility at 4970 S.E. 16th Ave. in the Brooklyn area. The contractor is Lorentz Bruun Co. Inc.

• St. John Fisher Catholic Church of Portland is seeking a $2 million permit to add a new parish hall and renovate an existing rectory at 7101 S.W. 46th Ave. in the Maplewood area. The applicant is Soderstrom Architects, and the contractor is Team Construction Group Inc.

• 6805 N. Maryland LLC is pursuing a $1.6 million permit to build a three-story, 19-unit apartment building at 6805 N. Maryland Ave. in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood. The architect is CIDA Architects.

• Solex Contracting of Temecula, California, is the contractor for a tenant improvement – a retail space and salon – at 10245 N.E. Cascades Parkway near Portland International Airport.

• The Hollywood 8 LLC was issued a $990,000 permit to build a three-story, eight-unit apartment building at 1714 N.E. 45th Ave. in the Hollywood area. The applicant is DECA Architecture, and the contractor is Constructive.
