OREGON 250 |

Amanda McCaffrey

Organization
Lease Crutcher Lewis
Title
Preconstruction manager

Amanda McCaffrey has built an impressive portfolio of projects within her first five years with Lease Crutcher Lewis. Among them is the $49.5 million Lane Community College Industry and Trades Education Center.

The ITEC building, which opened in January, replaced an aging structure with modern learning environments, created a new eastern gateway to the Lane campus, and improved pedestrian and emergency access.

McCaffrey also participates in interview teams and winning project pursuits across higher education, civic, health care, tenant improvement and multiuse projects. Her colleagues have noted her keen eye for detail and fluency in design and construction as being instrumental in these accomplishments.

However, her efforts outside of her work are equally impressive. McCaffrey is a co-chair of the Lease Crutcher Lewis Foundation鈥檚 advisory committee grants subcommittee. The Lewis Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 to local nonprofits since its launch in 2021.

She advocates and works closely with Girls Build, Portland YouthBuilders, Constructing Hope, POIC and Oregon Tradeswomen. She also volunteers with Architects in Schools, working with fourth graders to teach them architectural concepts.
