Jodie Scholz has not only amassed an impressive project portfolio with Skanska but also helped lead its Inclusion Commitment and the many inclusion and diversity initiatives that are part of it.

The company recognized her with its Skanska Diversity and Inclusion Champion award for increasing diverse participation in projects she leads. She helped develop an improved onboarding process for small and diverse subcontractors, leading to a 26 percent diverse participation rate for one of Skanska鈥檚 clients.

Her portfolio includes the inpatient addition project at Oregon Health & Science University. Her operational process improvement efforts have helped save an estimated 10,000 project management hours per year.

Scholz leads her Skanska team in community engagement, preparing more than 2,000 meals for families at Ronald McDonald House Charities. She operates a Christmas tree farm that donates money to local nonprofits and assisted-living homes. As a leader in the Yamhill County chapter of Royal Family KIDS Camp, Scholz provides foster children with unforgettable experiences such as crafting personalized memory books as the camp photographer.
