Lillian Stevenson

Organization
Berrien Concrete
Title
CEO

Lillian Stevenson, chief executive officer of Berrien Concrete LLC, co-founded the construction company in 2019 with a mission to transform her family鈥檚 trajectory and create opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs. As a business owner, Stevenson advocates for transparency and resource-sharing, driven by her late father鈥檚 experience of limited access to critical business networks and information.

Stevenson鈥檚 leadership philosophy was shaped early in her sales career by manager Beth Levy, who emphasized skill development over credentials and created advancement opportunities through hands-on mentoring. Today, she applies this collaborative approach with her own team.

Stevenson serves on the board of the Business Development Institute, an organization she joined in 2021. She is active in Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, National Association of Minority Contractors, Professional Business Development Group, and BE BLAC Foundation. She also serves on the Oregon Department of Transportation DBE Advisory Committee and the Salem Police Department Advisory Council to the Chief, extending her commitment to community advancement beyond her construction business.
