JH Kelly
Title
President and CEO

In 2002, Mason Evans became the fourth generation to lead JH Kelly, joining the family business after graduating from Notre Dame in 1994. He got a real education in a construction trailer, where fieldwork taught him the value of a good superintendent and the importance of identifying and satisfying customers鈥 needs.

Evans leads 1,500 employees in five offices and 500,000 square feet of fabrication and module space. JH Kelly鈥檚 service area includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and select jobs in Arizona for strategic customers.

JH Kelly is a member of the ACE Peer Group, six large mechanical contractors that collaborate on benchmarking for company critiques and host focus groups to pursue operational excellence.

While winning new projects is fun, so is figuring out how to build them, Evans told Plumbing & Mechanical. 鈥淚t takes folks from all different backgrounds 鈥 men, women, young apprentices and old, grizzled superintendents,鈥 he said. 鈥淚 like watching the creative process that happens to turn plans into reality.鈥
