Barry A. Cain serves as president of Gramor Development. Throughout his 40-year career, Cain has focused on enhancing local communities through development projects with long-lasting positive effects. The Waterfront Vancouver stands as a prime example of his work. Cain noted his most gratifying accomplishment has been assembling and retaining a small, hard-working, talented team that has collaborated closely on numerous projects over an extended period.

“I’ve always felt that if I put my head down and worked hard, good things would happen,” he explained regarding his leadership philosophy.

Cain has supported a number of causes, including the Clark County Parks Foundation, Clark County Walk and Knock, Columbia Play Project, CREW, Loaves & Fishes, The Meals on Wheels People, PSU Foundation, and The Salvation Army.

Tom Cody is founder and president of project^ and a real estate partner at 1803 Fund. He has 26 years of industry experience contributing to Oregon鈥檚 housing landscape. He conceived, capitalized and delivered MODOMI, a vertically integrated and scalable modular housing enterprise addressing Oregon鈥檚 workforce housing needs.

Cody serves on the Governor鈥檚 Housing Production Advisory Committee and the Mayor and Governor鈥檚 Multifamily Housing Taskforce, focusing on innovative housing solutions. He co-founded and serves as a board member of Albina Vision Trust and formerly chaired Oregon Ballet Theater.

Through his work, Cody has donated spaces for homeless shelters and collaborates with public-sector partners on creative housing and shelter solutions. He supports arts organizations including Bodyvox and Pickathon.

Eric Cress, principal at Urban Development + Partners, has spent 23 years reshaping Portland鈥檚 urban landscape after transitioning from microchip design to community development. His firm has transformed Portland neighborhoods including Southeast Division and the Central Eastside, while pioneering intentional community development through cohousing projects. Cress explained his career shift fulfilled a personal mission of increasing human connection through the built environment, allowing him to create positive impact in communities he values.

His leadership philosophy centers on development as entrepreneurship, requiring courage to articulate shared visions and navigate obstacles alongside strong teams. Cress noted the importance of working with people he cares about, emphasizing that collective commitment sustains projects through challenges.

He serves on the Central Eastside Industrial Council board and previously was its president. At the Urban Land Institute, Cress transitioned from chapter president to national product council member. He also contributes to the Advance Portland Advisory Committee.

Josh Daniels has spent a decade building DIG Real Estate alongside his brother Brenner Daniels, establishing a reputation for delivering high-quality real estate products and services to tenants, investors and communities. As a principal, Daniels focuses on creating value across multiple stakeholder groups through thoughtful development and property management.

Throughout his 10-year career in real estate, Daniels has demonstrated a commitment to both business excellence and community impact. His professional philosophy centers on providing world-class offerings that benefit all parties involved in real estate transactions and developments.

Beyond his work at DIG Real Estate, Daniels maintains active involvement in several organizations. He is a member of YPO and supports Friends of the Children, an organization dedicated to youth mentorship. Daniels also participates in various affordable housing programs, reflecting his broader commitment to community development and accessible housing solutions.

Matt Goodman was born and raised in Portland but began his real estate career in New York City. While there, he worked in JP Morgan鈥檚 Global Real Assets group and subsequently at GI Partners, a private equity firm focused on real estate.

In his role as a vice president of Downtown Development Group, he is the fourth generation of the Goodman family in company leadership. His great-grandfather, Walter, was a co-founder of City Center Parking in 1955, and his grandfather, Doug, grew the company beyond parking lots and founded Downtown Development Group.

Goodman earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science at Yale University and an MBA at UC Berkeley鈥檚 Haas School of Business. He serves on the boards of the Portland Business Alliance, Oregon Sports Authority, Doernbecher Children鈥檚 Hospital, Clean and Safe, Pioneer Courthouse Square and LOCUS.

Downtown Development Group and its affiliates have an ownership interest in more than 1.5 million square feet of residential, industrial, retail and office space within Portland鈥檚 Central Business District.

Anyeley Hallova put more than 20 years of experience toward starting Adre Development in 2020 because she wanted to run a firm that connects building innovation, climate action, social equity and restorative development.

鈥淥ur projects such as the mass-timber business hub for the Williams & Russell Project is turning聽capital into local support, pathways to prosperity and lasting value. Each effort begins with community priorities and follows through with equitable contracting and local ownership so value stays within the community,鈥� she said.

Hallova鈥檚 leadership philosophy aligns community partners, design teams and mission-driven investors, and carries commitments through design, construction and operations. 鈥淪uccess means the work advances community priorities, creates pathways to prosperity for local, small and BIPOC-owned firms, cuts carbon, and keeps value in the community,鈥� she said.

Hallova chairs the U.S. Green Building Council Board and Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and has been recognized as a Goldman Sachs Scholar, Tory Burch Fellow and Just Economy Institute Fellow.
