Ryan Flynn is responsible for regional strategy and engagement, and leads customer, community and government affairs for Pacific Power, which serves more than 800,000 customers in Oregon, Washington and California.

Flynn joined PacifiCorp in 2006, holding various positions in the legal department before leaving in 2015 to pursue a family opportunity in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He returned to the company in 2018 and served as senior vice president and chief legal officer for Pacific Power. He also was responsible for the legal, communications and government affairs teams.

A native of Corvallis, Flynn received his bachelor’s degree from Willamette University and his law degree from George Washington University. He previously worked as a congressional staffer, and as a lawyer in Seattle and Washington, D.C.

Flynn currently serves on the executive committee of the Portland Metro Chamber and the board of the Oregon Business Council. He was a longtime board member for the Dougy Center. He is also a former OMSI board member.
