Monique Allen, president of ACMS Northwest, has built a 28-year career in the construction industry. She has established her company as a financially stable, award-winning organization. Under her leadership, ACMS Northwest celebrated its 10-year anniversary as a thriving company recognized for quality management and community engagement.

Allen leads with what she calls 鈥淰IP services鈥 鈥 vision, innovation and passion 鈥 combined with integrity and commitment to clients, employees and the community. She explained that effective leadership requires understanding each team member鈥檚 role and building diverse teams that bring different perspectives to common goals.

Allen serves on the board of Women in Transportation Services and as a committee member with the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials. She volunteers with Women in Environment and maintains active involvement with the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, National Association of Minority Contractors, Oregon Tradeswomen, Business Development Institute and Construction Management Association of America.
