Since joining Menashe Properties in 2011, Jordan Menashe has used a creative and energetic leadership approach to take the company to new heights. He has focused on modernizing and expanding the brand, strategizing each asset at the micro and macro levels, to propel growth to more than 5 million square feet by branching into new markets that include Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, and Vancouver, Washington.

Prior to joining the family business, Menashe studied real estate, finance and international business at the University of Southern California. After graduating, he gained experience at First Property Realty Corporation in Los Angeles before returning to Portland to grow the family business.

Since the company was founded in 1978 by Menashe鈥檚 father, Barry Menashe, it has expanded into 20 submarkets and taken ownership of properties that house over 500 tenants. Recently, the firm purchased Montgomery Park in Northwest Portland, renovated the Plaza on 6th office building in downtown Portland, and acquired the 125 South Wacker office tower in Chicago.

Timothy S. Mitchell, president of Norris & Stevens for nearly 16 years, has guided the nearly 60-year-old, privately held company through its transition from second to third-generation ownership. Under his leadership, the firm expanded its brokerage revenues by diversifying geographic reach and property types. He has spent 38 years in the commercial real estate industry.

Mitchell serves as chairman of the board for TCN Worldwide, an international real estate affiliation, elected to the position by his peers. His professional involvement includes membership in the Commercial Association of Brokers and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Previously, Mitchell served on the boards of the University of Utah Ivory Boyer Real Estate Center and Portland State University鈥檚 MRED Program Board. A former college football player, Mitchell explained that his leadership philosophy centers on perseverance and mental toughness. 鈥淣ever give up, no matter how difficult the situation is,鈥� he said, noting the career provides an opportunity to compete at the industry鈥檚 highest level.

Kirk L. Olsen is a principal in Trammell Crow Company鈥檚 Portland office. He has built a 23-year career in commercial real estate. During his tenure, Olsen played a key role in the substantial growth of the company鈥檚 Portland office, helping establish it as a significant presence in the Pacific Northwest market.

Olsen has demonstrated commitment to industry leadership through extensive volunteer service. He served as board president of NAIOP Oregon, guiding the state鈥檚 premier commercial real estate development association. He also led the Lake Oswego Schools Foundation as board president, supporting educational initiatives in his community.

Currently, Olsen serves on the executive committee of Portland State University鈥檚 Center for Real Estate Advisory Board, where he contributes to shaping real estate education and industry partnerships. He explained that he welcomes challenges as growth opportunities and prioritizes regular, clear communication in his professional approach.

Blake St. Onge sees the relationships he has built over the last two decades as his greatest career accomplishment, noting business and life are about planting, watering and cultivating relationships that go far beyond a deal.

鈥淭he most rewarding part of my career has been working with leaders today whose trust was built three, five, even 10 years ago in some cases. That鈥檚 the kind of sustainable growth I鈥檓 most proud of,鈥� he said.

St. Onge said his leadership philosophy started in 2006 when he wrote down three words that have guided him ever since:聽Learn. Contribute. Compete.

鈥淟earn because curiosity keeps you growing; contribute because success means adding value to others; and compete because striving to be your best raises everyone around you,鈥� he said. 鈥淢y approach to leadership is about creating an environment where people learn, contribute and compete together, and where growth and trust outlast any single win.鈥�

St. Onge鈥檚 community involvement includes De La Salle North Catholic High School, Cedar Mill Little League, CYO, BIC and Cresa鈥檚 Strategic Leadership Council.

David Tabata, a Marcus & Millichap regional manager, has built a distinguished 12-year career in commercial real estate. He has contributed to the growth of Marcus & Millichap into one of the top five largest commercial real estate firms in Portland.

Tabata鈥檚 leadership approach centers on creating environments where professionals feel trusted, supported, and challenged to grow. 鈥淢y philosophy on leading is rooted in empowerment and accountability,鈥� he explained.

He serves on the Developing Leaders Board for NAIOP Oregon, contributing to the development of emerging professionals in the commercial real estate industry.
