The Dinihanian Building in downtown Portland‘s West End is being remodeled into a retail store for Roche Bobois, a French high-end furniture seller. Skyline Interiors, Inc. is renovating the basement and first floor of the two-story building on Southwest Washington Street.

Work on the Waterleaf Architecture-designed project includes the installation of a new storefront façade, new HVAC, electrical, and fire sprinkler systems, sandblasting of the wooden truss ceiling and concrete walls, and refinishing of the building’s oak floors.  Work on the 8-week project is slated for completion at the end of September.

Skyline Interiors is putting the finishing touches on a tenant improvement at the Pittock Block building in downtown Portland for Fios, a DTI Company, which provides electronic discovery services for legal clients. The 20,000-square foot space was completely demolished and built back up with new partitions, framing, drywall, and ceilings. Work on the project began in August and is slated for completion later this month. The remodel was designed by Chicago-based Billmoria/Eggert Associates.

Law firm Hitt Hiller Monfils Williams LLP is expanding into a 4,400-square-foot space of the historic Grand Stable and Carriage Building in downtown Portland, at 415 S.W. Second Ave. The space features an exposed brick wall and large fir columns and beams. Skyline Interiors Inc. is the general contractor and Waterleaf Architecture is the designer of the renovation project.

The last phase is under way on an upgrade to the second-floor offices of the Oregon Symphony in the Pittock Building in downtown Portland. There will be a new entrance to the offices in the historic building at 921 S.W. Washington St. as well as a new telemarketing area. By the end of the week, new carpet will be installed and new paint will be applied in remaining spaces. General contractor Skyline Interiors is in charge of the project.

A 6,200-square-foot space on the third floor of the building at 620 S.W. 5th Ave. is being renovated to become the new home of Oregon Live. When completed at the end of July, the space will have offices, conference rooms and a reception area.
