The $1.5 million dollar renovation, designed by Mildren Design Group, includes a new deli and seating area, a truckers’ store, a lottery room with video poker machines, and a stairwell to an 80-seat movie theater. New 18-foot ceilings and large windows will provide bright natural light in the 5,280-square-foot space. Work on the project is expected to wrap up this summer.

Bagels, and a complete interior renovation includes new carpet and tile flooring, lighting, kitchen equipment and dining tables. Demolition on the site began last week, and the new restaurant is slated to open Dec. 14. TS Construction Management is simultaneously converting another Noah’s Bagels in Hillsboro.

A child care center for Oregon Health & Science University is being created in Portland’s South Waterfront District. A former 20,000-square-foot warehouse at 3325 S.W. Moody Ave. is getting a new roof and an upgraded exterior as well as a reception area, classrooms, offices and an indoor play area. The property also will include an outdoor play area. General contractor R&H Construction Co. is performing the renovation from a design by Ohio-based ADA Architecture. T.S. Construction Management is managing the project.

One of two projects at Coaxis Inc. in Southeast Portland is substantially completed and the other is nearly finished. Employees of the company in the RiverEast Center at 1515 S.E. Water Ave. will soon be working out in a new exercise room with an attached massage room. A former 2,500-square-foot warehouse space on the building’s second floor now has new paint, new flooring, exercise equipment and open space for exercise classes. A 2,200-square-foot space will soon be the home to 24 work stations. The third-floor office area got new paint, carpeting and electrical upgrades. The two renovation projects are being done by TS Construction Management from designs by Group Mackenzie Inc.

The 20,000-square-foot building will house the Oregon Health & Science University child care center that will be operated by Portland-based Children’s Creative Learning Centers. The building is getting a new roof as well as classrooms, a reception area and indoor and outdoor play areas. The roof trusses will be refinished and left exposed. R&H Construction Co. is the general contractor, Cleveland, Ohio-based ADA Architecture is the designer and T.S. Construction Management is the manager of the project that should be completed in mid-fall.

TS Construction Management has a new and bigger home in Southeast Portland. The company is now in a 1,000-square-foot space on the second floor of the River East Building at 1515 S.E. Water Ave. TS Construction Management built its own office, which was designed by Group Mackenzie.
