is renovating a former tire warehouse into service space for commercial drivers at the in North Portland. The $1.5 million dollar renovation, designed by Mildren Design Group, includes a new deli and seating area, a truckers’ store, a lottery room with video poker machines, and a stairwell to an 80-seat movie theater. New 18-foot ceilings and large windows will provide bright natural light in the 5,280-square-foot space. Work on the project is expected to wrap up this summer.
