A multifamily development under construction in Southeast Portland will offer 40 affordable housing units in the Jade District.

Jackstraw is being constructed in Bend鈥檚 Southern Crossing neighborhood. The development will include 313 apartments and townhomes, along with 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Construction of Julia West House, in Portland's West End, is scheduled to finish this fall. Upon completion, it's anticipated to be the tallest mass-timber building in Oregon, according to Community Development Partners.
Building Blocks: The Allred renovation and expansion
Earlier this year, crews completed a full renovation of the existing hotel in Newport, added 26 boutique-style suites, and built a new parking garage.
Building Blocks: Dolores affordable housing
The three-story Dolores development will offer 67 affordable housing units in the Tanasbourne neighborhood at Hillsboro鈥檚 east end.
