Kate MacKinnon Kiser serves as board chair of the Oregon ACE mentorship program, with which she has been involved since 2006. With more than 20 years of professional experience, Kiser has built her career on developing team capacity and fostering collaborative problem-solving approaches.

Kiser began her architectural career during a recession, when younger staff had opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities. That experience shaped her leadership philosophy centered on creating positions of opportunity while providing support and removing obstacles for team members.

Kiser has been a regular volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and previously served as a facilitator volunteer for the League of Women Designers. Her professional focus emphasizes the value of diverse perspectives in reaching optimal solutions, working from the principle that teams accomplish more together than individuals working alone. Throughout her career, she has prioritized building confidence in others across all career stages, viewing project delivery as a long-term process offering continuous growth opportunities.
