, a provider of corporate Internet tech services, has unveiled its new commercial data center in Beaverton. The 7,000-square-foot facility, according to the company, has a definite green slant.
Rich Bader, president and CEO of the company, said the data center has been designed with an innovative cooling system and other sustainable features that should annually save the company energy equivalent to the amount needed to power 153 average households for a year.
The center features an indirect evaporative cooling system that captures and filters rainwater, and a parking lot with an electric-vehicle charging station. The building’s energy-saving features netted the company incentives worth $346,000, according to EasyStreet.
