The Tualatin-based is bringing the residents of Vancouver, Wash., their first New Seasons Market, which marks the first out-of-state expansion for the Oregon-based grocery outlet.

According to Barry Cain, president of the development firm, the grocery outlet will take over a 40,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Albertsons at Gramor’s Fisher’s Landing Marketplace, a 124,000-square-foot shopping center located in East Vancouver off of Southeast 164^th Avenue.

Cain also announced that along with the new tenant improvement for the New Seasons, the company will conduct a $4.5 million exterior renovation of the entire shopping center, which will require nearly 200 construction workers to complete.

Gramor is in the process of developing another New Seasons Market in Beaverton, as well. The company is anchoring its Progress Ridge development with New Seasons, Cinetopia and the bowling center Big Al’s.

Cain expects the renovations for the Vancouver New Seasons to be completed by October, and the store should open within the same month.
